Homemade Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats
Your dog will love the taste and you will love how simple they are to make.
all natural peanut butter
*make sure it doesn't contain xylitol
whole wheat flour
Preheat oven to 350.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Use an electric mixer to mix peanut butter, pumpkin and eggs.
Slowly add in flour, in 1/2 cup increments.
Dough should not be sticky, so adjust the amount of flour accordingly.
Put your finished dough on the silicone mat. If you don't have a mat, you can sprinkle some flour on a flat surface, like your counter.
Use your rolling pin to roll the dough to approximately a 1/4 inch thickness.
Use cookie cutters and place your cut treats on the cookie sheet.
Bake 20-25 minutes, until edges are golden.
Transfer to a cooling rack and make sure they are completely cool.
Since these dog treats contain eggs, we recommend refrigerating them. If you make a large batch, you can also freeze them and move them to the refrigerator as needed.
