Ingredients

- 2 cups of milk (I prefer almond)
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 large very ripe banana, mashed
- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Heat milk in a saucepan until bubbles form along the edges.
- Stir in oats, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Lower heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Mash the banana and add to the oatmeal, along with the maple syrup.
- Let sit until it’s your desired consistency.
- Serve in bowls with toppings of your choice.
