Description
A holiday twist on our favorite french toast recipe. Use your left over eggnog instead of milk and create the perfect holiday breakfast dish.
Ingredients

- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cups eggnog
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 slices challah bread
- butter or cooking spray
- powdered sugar and/or syrup
Instructions
- Lightly grease your electric griddle with cooking spray or butter and preheat.
- Whisk together eggs, egg nog, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla extract, in a shallow plate.
- Dip a slice of bread into the mixture, one at a time, making sure to soak both sides.
- Transfer to griddle and cook on each side until golden brown.
- Top with powdered sugar and/or maple syrup.
Notes
You can use any bread you’d like, but we find that thick slices of challah are the best for french toast!
