Love sushi but don’t always have the budget for restaurant-made sushi? This easy sushi bake is for you. Serve a family of 4 for around $20.

- 1 package of frozen Sticky Rice
- 2 sheets of nori (sushi seaweed)
- 8oz imitation crab meat, chopped
- ¾ cup English cucumber, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp salt
Topping:
- 1 Haas avocado
- ¼ cup cucumber, chopped
- ¼ cup imitation crab, chopped
- 1 sheet nori, chopped
- Soy sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Cook the frozen sticky rice according to the box. Preheat the oven to 450º.
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Place the rice in the baking dish and flatten it so it’s leveled.
- Add one sheet of nori to the top.
- In a large bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients (except the topping ingredients).
- Add the mixture on top of the nori and flatten it so it’s leveled.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15-20 minutes.
- Add a column of cucumbers and a column of imitation crab. Chop the avocado and add a column of chopped avocado.
- Sprinkle chopped seaweed on top.
- Using the parchment paper, pull the sushi bake and place it on a flat surface.
- Slice into pieces and serve with soy sauce for dipping.
