Ahh… the bathroom. The place where you can have privacy and a few minutes to yourself to doo what you need to doo. A sacred place that we took for granted for a long time, before we had kids. Somehow, after you become a parent, the bathroom is no longer your private place. They failed to tell us that our kids have a radar that tells them exactly when we walk into the bathroom so that they can knock, stick their tiny hands and feet under the door, ask you a million questions, beg you to come in… the demands are endless and always seem to be that exact moment when you finally take a break from your busy life to use the bathroom.
Whatcha doo-in Mom?
I miss those days. The days when I could sit down and actually relax for a moment as I did my doody…. As a parent, I find myself having to rush through it before someone knocks on the door and needs my attention. And honestly, I miss it. And while I know that my girls are growing up so quickly and one day I’ll miss those bangs on the door and endless questions, right now, I just want to be able to poo in peace.
I have been a fan of Poo~Pourri Before-You-Go® Toilet Spray for years. If you haven’t heard of it, you may be living under a rock. It’s genius. When you live in a household of 5, you don’t want to walk into a bathroom and get a whiff of what the person before you left behind. This all natural spray is made up of essential oils and traps the smell with just a few sprays before you go. So after you flush, you don’t leave anything behind but a refreshing bouquet of natural essential oils.
Mama, Are you Done Yet?
When I found out that the founder of Poo~Pourri, Suzy Batiz and The Poo Crew had written a book, I couldn’t wait to read it. The WOO of POO: Change Your Life In The Time You Take a Sh*t was not only the perfect bathroom read, but gave me a reason to stay in the bathroom just a little bit longer. Each chapter is inspiring and gives a little insight into how you can be a better person. Between the company’s triumphant stories to the “Take a Shift” exercises, you can’t help but leave the bathroom a changed person.
While I loved the entire book, my favorite chapter was Woo #4: Doo it on purpose. This particular chapter focuses on how we can become the person we’ve always wanted to be. It really resonated with me because up until a few years ago, I felt like I was living the life I was supposed to live, not the life I wanted to live. I think we are brought up that way. You are supposed to get married, you are supposed to have a career and you are supposed to have kids… and while all of this is awesome, is it what you wanted or what you were supposed to do? When I finally stopped worrying about what my life was supposed to look like and more about what I wanted my life to look like, things changed, drastically. I was excited to get up in the morning. I was excited about my career. I was excited to be a Mom and a wife. I had a purpose and it was the purpose I chose, not the one that was chosen for me.
Sometimes, I think we need a little reminding. And so this book not only serves as that reminder, but also gives you a few moments back in your day to allow yourself to focus on you and how you can live a better life. If this sounds like something you’ve wanted to do, please take a moment and check out The WOO of POO: Change Your Life In The Time You Take a Sh*t. I know it’s going to change my life and I’m sure it will change yours.

I have seen this product mentioned online many times and on the tv. I’ve never seen it in a local store so haven’t tried it and always wondered if it worked.
I keep meaning to buy Poo-Pourri to see what it is like, I find it hard to believe it will turn the stink to a good smell but hey so many people say its good!
I cracked up at this post! We actually DO buy Poo-Pourri because I have a stinky teenager plus a husband. It comes in handy. I love this book too.
There is an ongoing joke amongst my close friends about how I will poop anywhere should the need arise. I can certainly see Poo-Pourri becoming a purse staple of mine!
Oh my..I must admit, I laughed when I read your title! I’ve heard of the Woo-of-Poo spray, but didn’t realize they had a book. I can only imagine it’s a good read!
LOL! This sounds like a great product.
Since I haven’t heard of this product or book well yes I must be living under a rock. That is okay we put locks on our bathroom doors for privacy. Have fun with the spray and book sounds fun.
