Just when you thought you might be done with your holiday shopping, I am about to throw a wrench into your celebration. We recently picked up a family game that is an absolute blast. Sparkle*Kitty is one of those last minute gift ideas that you need under your Christmas tree. It’s a fun, family game that will get everyone off of their devices, around the table, laughing and having a great time. If you’re looking for a game that all ages can enjoy, together, read on!
About Sparkle*Kitty
Sparkle*Kitty is an adorably fun, social, and magical spell card game for all ages, sizes and genders. Once upon a time, a group of powerful princesses were captured and locked away in Cursed “No Cursing” towers by the evil queen Sparkle*Kitty! All their words and magic spells vanished and became sugar & spice… almost everything nice.
Luckily these are no ordinary princesses and you are no ordinary player! Take matters into your own hands and harness the simple and sweet words into special spell combinations to set yourself free! The first to escape, wins!
It’s a Fun, Family Game
Getting my girls together, to play one game, is really hard. They each have their own likes and dislikes and given their ages, you can understand why. If we happen to find a game that they all love, finding one that Super Dad and I love as well, is also a challenge. So when we find one that the entire family agrees on, we have to shout it from the rooftops. Sparkle*Kitty is that game!
Basically, you choose a princess and you create a tower of words. You add those words to your spell book and you have to say the spells out loud. Here’s where the fun really comes in. Imagine my 40-something year old husband yelling things like “Daisy Doodle”. Oh, it was hilarious. The girls couldn’t stop laughing the entire time they played it.
It’s a race to see who can help their princess escape where she’s being held prisoner by the evil queen, Sparkle*Kitty. But it’s not just that simple. There are laughs and giggles all the way. We’ve played the game multiple times already (just today) and the girls can’t get enough of it. They even brought it over to our neighbors house to teach them how to play. I secretly just think they wanted to hear “Grandpa” say something like “Fabulous Grumpy Twinkle.”
Our youngest loves this game because the rules say that the youngest goes first (unless someone is dressed like a princess, and then they go first). So, since we are fresh out of princess dresses, she’s sure to go first every time. She also loves the different princesses and was excited to have chosen Princess Bookworm, which is perfect for my little reader!
Where To Buy Sparkle*Kitty
It’s such a fun and silly game and we really can’t get enough. So if you’re looking for one more gift, or even if you aren’t, go and pick up Sparkle*Kitty. The game is available at Walmart, Target and Amazon. We are sure you’ll love it as much as we do!

OK this game sounds amazing. Myself and the other half have been collecting all different ones this past year or so and could do with something new to take with us when we go to his parents for new year, I may have to pick this one up!
Maybe when my husband and I have a little girl, but for now, we will think about BOY toys! haha!

We love playing board games in our family. This looks like a great addition to our library . We’re always looking for fun ways to spend time together that doesn’t involve something plugged in!
This looks like such a fun game. I love the name too. I might have to pick it up to play over Winter Break.
