When I was growing up, I always dreamt of having a little girl. I wanted to dress her up, do her hair and take a million pictures of her that we could one day look back on and oooh and aaah. I imagined that when she got to a certain age, we would share clothing and shoes, do each other’s hair and makeup and be the best of friends. And while I was lucky enough to be blessed with three girls, things don’t always work out the way we plan, right?
At some point between the first day of 5th grade and like 2 days later, my oldest daughter, Lucia, went from borrowing my shoes, to wearing 2 sizes bigger than me. I’m not even kidding. Her feet just didn’t get the memo that she was in elementary school and she was suddenly wearing a size 9 before I could blink. How did my little girl suddenly get so big? Obviously, sharing shoes was no longer an option.
While I was always pretty thin, once I had kids, my body decided to go another direction (wide) and I’ve had such a hard time losing the weight. So, my size 4 teenager and I won’t be sharing clothing anytime soon (unless she’s looking for an oversized jacket or tee). Obviously, sharing clothing was no longer an option either.
While Lucia and I are close, I feel like we missed out on that fun sharing stage. You know, the stage when she borrows my things without asking and I tell her to put them back but secretly I’m excited that I’ll have double the options? I mean, she does borrow my makeup and I do have to remind her to give it back, but it’s just not the same.
Luckily, no matter what our size differences, there is one thing that we can still share… jewelry!
So when I was contacted by Victoria Emerson, I did a happy dance. Beautiful jewelry that we could choose together, share and look fashionable!
Victoria Emerson inspires women to celebrate the joy in the everyday, and to share their sparkle with the world! Celebrating independence and strength, their line of hand made accessories adds a spark to any woman’s outfit. Created in 2012, they introduced a line of bracelets that were made for every woman. Since then, they’ve grown into a full line of accessories and goodies!
They offer a beautiful variety of wraps, cuffs, necklaces and watches. When it came time to choose our accessories, the list was long. It was so hard to choose only a few pieces because they are all so stunning. We decided to go with options that would match most of our wardrobe. For Lucia, her favorite colors are yellow and aqua, so she chose a double wrap and a mini boho bracelet. I tend to wear a lot of darker colors, so I chose the double wrap in white and a boho bracelet. Just for the record, I’ve already asked permission to borrow hers.
The pieces come in beautiful packaging, ready for gift giving. Each piece is made so beautifully and is stamped with the Victoria Emerson name. For me, an accessory is all about the details and these Victoria Emerson pieces did not disappoint. The clasps are so sturdy and they really do sparkle!
Now that we know that we have similar taste in jewelry, we’ve already discussed what we want to pick up next from Victoria Emerson! I love that you can wear them individually or pair them up for a bolder look. It’s amazing what a little sparkle can do for an outfit, no matter how casual. Now is a great time to check out Victoria Emerson. All wraps are $19.99 and all boho cuffs are $24.99 now through Monday, June 17, 2019!
Now, let’s hope my other two daughters don’t grow quite as quickly.

We don’t share shoes. She’s almost 3 sizes bigger than I am.
How gorgeous is that jewellery? I love that it gives you something you can share with your daughter and perhaps bring together a collection of!
These are gorgeous bracelets. I love the style. They’re super cute!
I think my daughters and I could agree on those bracelets. They’re very pretty and just our style.
This jewelry is very cute and stylish. I like that you can wear this bracelet with almost anything. I’m gonna have to check out their website for some new looks!

Sharing with your teen daughter is tough because she wants to have her own style and stuff. I have borrowed some of her clothes and she hates when i do this but we do have some of the same tastes.
