Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to serve the love(s) of your life. Whether it be your significant other or your kids, these Chocolate Dipped Waffle Sticks are sure to make them fall madly in love with you! If you’re looking for an easy, delicious recipe, read on!

We were lucky enough to have our Aunt Cindy “Dee Dee” staying with us this past weekend. Aside from spoiling us with love, Dee Dee loves to cook for us when she visits. She brings herself, a small suitcase, her dog Tuca and a car full of Pampered Chef products! In fact, she’s been a Pampered Chef Consultant for 18 years! Impressive isn’t it? So when I told her that I wanted to prepare a special Valentine’s Day breakfast in bed recipe for my family, she pulled out her waffle stick pan and suggested chocolate covered waffle sticks with strawberries. YES PLEASE!

Over the years, I’ve owned a couple of waffle makers and while they did produce some delicious waffles, they always produced more of a mess.  This waffle stick pan made the whole process super easy! You can get one in time for Valentine’s Day (it’s only $25), but don’t worry, if you don’t have one, you can always make waffles in a waffle maker or even buy frozen (I won’t tell).

It took us only minutes to mix the batter and I had everything we needed in my pantry and refrigerator. Then, we filled each section 1/2 to 3/4 of the way, baked at 400 for 13 minutes and voila! Beautifully browned waffle sticks that filled the house with all kinds of yummy smells. I wouldn’t mind if my house smelled like that every day.

While you can easily use maple syrup or powdered sugar, we decided to go all out. We melted some chocolate chips and pink candy melts and grabbed a couple of fresh strawberries. It was so easy and so delicious. I can’t wait to recreate this on Valentine’s Day. Serve it along side a hot cup of coffee or a cold glass of milk and there will be no doubt how much they are loved. Make sure you save a couple for yourself because you’re very special too.

  • What? I had no idea that a product like this existed but am on it for Valentines Day and just a fun breakfast idea!

  • I don’t have one of those stick waffle pans. I could probably make regular waffles and cut them into sticks.

  • May I say those look delicious? I will really make it once a month as it is a premium treat for me. By the way, thanks for the recipe. If this is available in my country, Waffle stick Pan will be one of the machines which I will buy.

  • Just perfect for Valentine’s! The waffle sticks look so yummy especially with strawberry toppings! I am also a huge lover of chocolate.

  • nothing says valentines day then a yummy meal like this- always love to enjoy a delicious waffle stack ha!

  • YOur waffle sticks are the perfect Valentine’s Day breakfast! I seldom use a waffle maker to make waffles because of the mess but this is perfect. Oh, and I love every Pampered Chef item I own. From the ice cream scoop to the batter bowl (or whatever it’s called) I love them all.

  • These look so yummy! Ive never seen one of these machines before I need to go hunt one down! Ill be sure to use this recipe when I do so 🙂
