Ever since we had kids, we’ve had some form of wet wipes in our home.   What works for our babies will work for us too, right?! At least that’s what we thought.  As of today, we are dumping wet wipes for good. And you should too! Here’s why…

See… while wet wipes are great and leave you feeling fresh and clean, they aren’t meant to be flushed. Yet so many of us do it on a regular basis.  What I didn’t realize was that we are actually clogging up our pipes and even though some packages claim that their wipes are flushable, they aren’t!  They don’t break down like toilet paper does because they are meant to be wet.   They clog up the sewers and cause sewage flooding. Yuck!  We need to stop the madness!

Butt wait!

How do we keep our bum’s fresh and clean without our beloved wipes?  Well, our friends at Squatty Potty (creators of the Squatty Potty and SquattyPottymus) have created the magic remedy.  Meet Toilet Paper Foam, the safer wet wipe alternative!

Apply foam to toilet paper, wipe, flush and feel refreshed! Made with soothing aloe and witch-hazel, this toilet paper foam softens skin and reduces discomfort. It’s a great alternative to wet wipes! Now’s your chance to be more hygienic AND eco-friendly. Doing the right thing just feels good. Like, it literally feels good on your bum.

We Wouldn’t Give You a Bum Steer

After just one use, we were hooked.  Toilet Paper Foam leaves you feeling clean. It has a fresh scent and is the perfect size to carry around in your purse (we want to feel fresh on the go too).   It’s sewer and septic safe and best of all, environmentally friendly!

It’s especially great when you have kids.  It makes cleaning themselves easier and they aren’t clogging the toilet with 20 wet wipes (we’ve all experienced that, haven’t we?). Plus, it makes laundry day that much easier on our eyes and noses.  You get what I’m saying?

Toilet Paper Foam is #1 when it comes to #2!

  3. This sounds like a wonderful product, very innovative and good for the environment. It is a great substitute for people using wet wipes.

  4. I love this! Wipes can be iffy when it comes to flushing without issues. This is the perfect way to get the cleanliness you want without any of the trouble wipes can bring.

  5. This is actually interesting though I don’t normally use wet wipes because I’m afraid it would clog the toilet bowl.

  6. I had no idea that this was an actual thing! I think I could make the transition. Have you tried this on a baby’s bottom?

  7. So glad to read you’re removing wet wipes from your lives. I know firsthand that the transition is not easy, but if you’re determined (and have an alternative, which you do), then it will be easier. And better on the environment 😉 x

  8. One of the best innovation I’ve come across to. A great product to think of when I’ll have a baby.

  9. We live in an RV and had NO IDEA squatty potty made something like this. It would be perfect. We actually already have the squatty potty and love it. This will be a great addition to our bathroom needs. LOL

  11. Ooh what an innovative product! I definitely think this would be useful in our household! xxx

  12. I have never heard of this before but it looks like something we could use. We definitely go through a lot of wipes here.

  13. That I pooped today button is killing me. I hadn’t heard that the Squatty Potty line had expanded, but this sounds like an awesome idea. In our vintage home, we have to protect our pipes at all costs!

  14. This is something to keep in your purse as you pursue your daily activities. I can’t wait to try it, i’m hoping it does as it claims.

  15. I gave them up for the same reasons! It really is not a need in life and you can live without them. It is a great way to help the environment!

  16. This is such an interesting product. I don’t usuallly use wet wipes in the washroom but if I ever did need to, this product is a great substitute!

  17. Never knew that people flushed wet wipes. That’s not something I use but the Squatty Potty looks like a fun product to try.

  18. Such a great alternative. I’m sure lots of people will be discarding the wipes now that they have another option

  19. Very ingenious, environmentally friendly product! It sure would be a radical change to use this product instead of paper or wipes, but who knows!

  24. What an ingenious invention. I could so use this here for the littler ones. Maybe for the bigger ones too!

  25. I love how more and more companies are coming up with a solution to lessen waste. I think this is pretty awesome and it does the job well!

  26. Interesting concept! I have heard even flushable wipes aren’t that great either. And what a great way to avoid waste!

  27. This is a seriously great invention!! Then you can choose whether you need the extra wetness or not. I know this will save my daughter from using so much toilet paper at a time sometimes!

  28. I didn’t realize people try to flush wet wipes?!? They are probably the same ones who flush tampons and clog up public restrooms. My husband would love this product!

  29. what a great alternative, my only concern is if I can bring it with me in the plane. i find wet wipes most useful when travelling!

  30. I am all about reducing waste and it’s something that I also urge family to do. I think this is awesome! I love that you’re sharing this, it’s a nice alternative to wet wipes.

  31. We don’t use wet wipes in the bathroom. I think the product you featured is a lot environmental friendly than wert wipes.

  32. I love the branding of squatty potty so cute! I didnt know even the flushable wipes were not good and still clogs the toliet I also think people need to stop using them because of the toxic chemicals on the wipes and many are not organic or made with natural ingredients.

  33. Though I’ve never heard of this before that’s quite an interesting product. Never knew that wt wipes were that harmful to our environment.

  34. This is an interesting concept! I use wet wipes in my home and never thought about how bad they are, I may need to look into the bathroom foam!

  35. This seems like a great concept. I’ve heard for years that wet wipes aren’t good for plumbing. Funny, I saw an “I Pooped Today” sticker on someone’s car the other day. The kids thought it was the funniest thing, and I’m glad I saw your post!

  36. “Butt Wait” hahahaha. I love your humour in this topic. I will definitely have to see if we have that product available here in Canada.

  37. Well, this is a new product I’ve never heard of before. I’m all for a greener solution and this sounds like a good one.

  38. Have always been skeptical about the environmental impact of wet wipes. This new product though seems more environment-friendly than wet wipes, although if you think about it, this water ends up in somewhere or the other polluting some land or water body.

This is made of natural ingredients – it’s safe so no, it’s not polluting anything.

  39. Wow! And to think that the packages do say do not flush and then we do it anyway. Something to consider if they truly do clog pipes. That’s not good.

  40. I am intrigued. I like that it takes up less room and is probably lighter than wipes. I’d try it.

  41. I’m not a fan of wet wipes because I prefer using clothes or tissue paper instead. The toilet paper foam sounds good and worth a try.

  42. Now this is actually a great product. Our youngest is 10 so we don’t typically need wet wipes. I love this

  43. This is such a great idea for a product. Wipes just create so much waste and I hate that you can’t flush them.

  44. i have never heard of wipe towels and this is so cool. why is this not in my life i wonder. thank you for the insight and i will be looking forward to buy your product and feel like a prince.

  45. This is actually such a good idea! I don’t use wet wipes because they are so awful for the environment as well as obviously a danger to clogging pipes in your home, so I’d definitely check this stuff out as an alternative!

  46. This sounds like a cool product. I never heard of it but it makes a lot of sense. I will look into getting some for our household.

  47. That’s a great alternatives to wet wipe. Easy, quick, eco friendly and looks refreshing too! Thanks for introducing this fantastic product.

  49. Squatting Potty is something new I haven’t heard of. Will have to head over and check them out to learn even more

  50. I am a wet wipe addict and use them for everything including when I am in the bathroom. I never flush them so now with this foam it would be a great way to get the best of both worlds.

  51. This sounds like a helpful product. Working in healthcare I know there is no brand of wipes that breakdown, we still have to use them in the retirement home so they just get thrown out instead of flushes.

  52. Thanks for the insights and fresh perspective – no pun intended. I never consider how harmful wet wipes could actually be for the environment. The foam sounds like a smart alternative.

  53. I don’t know about you people but we seldom use wet wipes here in the Philippines. A tabo or water dipper is common in the province. A biddet is common in the city.
Wet wipes is just an additional waste and is equivalent to another tree cut down.
Now regarding your product it is something that we haven’t seen in the market. Would love to try it out…
