When you think of St. Patrick’s Day gifts, you probably think of rainbows or pots of gold. That’s what comes to mind for us, at least. So it seemed natural for us to create a printable card for you that featured both. These super cute printable cards feature a smiling pot of gold and a rainbow, along with the words, “You’re pure gold.”

These are the final printable cards we made this year and maybe our favorite. How could that cute little face not bring a smile to your face?

Before I share the printable, let me share a little about what we used for ours.

While these “you’re pure gold” St. Patrick’s Day printable cards are cute enough to hand out independently, they also make a great gift tag.

Naturally, we wanted to give out chocolate gold coins. I found a bag of chocolate coins on Amazon. You can choose a different-sized bag depending on how many gifts you give out and how many chocolate coins you want to give to each person. Amazon sells them in bags from 25 pieces up to 500 pieces. I purchased the 100 PC bag which cost $.24 a piece, which is budget-friendly, especially when you have a large group to buy for.

I love the idea of putting the gold coins in a mini cauldron. I grabbed a pack of 5 mini cauldrons at the Dollar store last year. You can also get a pack of 12 mini cauldrons on Amazon for a decent price.

If you’re looking for other gift options, pair this “you’re pure gold” printable card with a small bag of st. Patrick’s Day treats or even a little toy.

Once you cut out the cards, punch a hole in the top corner and tie it to the treat with a ribbon. If the gift is loose or you’re afraid of the coins falling out, you can use a cellophane bag and tie it closed with the ribbon.

that pot of gold though

My oldest daughter drew this pot of gold, and I just fell in love with its cute little face. I wouldn’t mind finding him at the end of the rainbow. Stay tuned to find him featured in our St. Patrick’s Day coloring sheets.

How to Download:

  1. Download our you’re pure gold printable, open it in Adobe Acrobat, and print on cardstock paper (you can also use regular printer paper if that’s all you have available). Make sure to select landscape and “fit to page” before printing.
  2. Cut each card using a paper cutter or scissors (10 on each page).
  3. Write your child’s name at the bottom of the card.

The best part about these “you’re pure gold” St. Patrick’s Day printable cards is that it’s a digital file so you can save it to your computer and print as many as you need. I always recommend saving it somewhere that you will remember, in case you want to use them next year.
