Yesterday we visited a local farm and Falynn had the best time ever. She desperately wanted to hold a chicken but she didn’t know how. I love that she wasn’t afraid to ask for help. After learning the right way and trying a few times, she finally got the hang of it. I believe she held 3 different chickens. One 💩 on her shirt and we told her it was good luck. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 How was your weekend? Did you try anything new?

Finally... A costume that has...

World Mental Health Day is a day that affects us all. Whether it’s you or a loved one, it seems as though more and more people are speaking out about their struggles with mental health and how it affects their lives. Since having been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder myself years ago, I’ve connected with so many people through social media and am so grateful for this platform where we can reach out to others and let them know that they aren’t alone. What hurts my heart the most, is hearing about the amount of kids that deal with anxiety these days. I wish there was a magic button we could press to take away anxiety from our kids, so that they can enjoy their childhood, but unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Fortunately, there are steps we can take. I am grateful to @theanxietyhealer who has written another guest post on our blog today for those with teenagers who may be struggling with anxiety. She shares what signs to look for and when to seek help. I hope you’ll take a moment to check it out and pass it onto anyone with teenage kids. Let’s help in any way we can. .

There are many special memories...

AD: Our schedules just got a little bit busier. The girls have started taking music lessons! Falynn and Lucia are learning to play the ukele and Iyla is learning to play the piano. While they are loving every second of it, they get hungry. I always have to make sure they grab some water and a snack. Or in Falynn's case, lots of snacks. Raising three girls is tough. They each have their own very different personalities. They don’t get along all the time. They seem to be in competition constantly. I can’t give a compliment to one without the other thinking that my compliment to one, meant I was insulting the other. And while I’m working on teaching them how to handle those situations, I can’t help but think that our female minds are wired that way and it saddens me. We are stronger when we support and encourage one another. So to all those girls out there who are busting their butts to make it, in a world where people are just waiting for you to make one wrong move so they can discard you, keep your head up. Find the people that will have your back no matter what. Surround yourself with others that care more about facts than gossip. And when you do find them, hold onto them, cherish them and have their back in every situation. Together, we can change the world. That’s the power when girls support girls.     I like working out at home on whenever I am traveling. What’s good about exercising it keep you fit and healthy. To stay active not necessarily needed an equipment , you can always do cardio and flexibility on your own. You just have to be resourceful and creative on your workout.     I love exercising at home when I can and apps like this definitely help me out. I think it’s awesome that it’s easy to use and that you can consult a trainer whenever you have to.

      The app is the first of it’s kind in that we have a team of certified personal trainers (with Bachelors/Masters degrees in their designated fields) on the other end working directly with each client…..which gives users a completely different experience than you would just get interacting with a piece of software with some stock exercise videos 🙂

    This is great for folks wanting to exercise at home. I remember some of these exercises from when I was a teen, specifically the mountain climbers, lying lifts and chair lunges.

    I need major encouragement to get my butt to workout. I usually need to go to a class or walk with a friend. I am not sure if an app would work for me!

      I hear you….getting motivated is one of the toughest parts 🙂

      You should try the app out to see. Based on what you’re saying, I think you’d see the form of accountability in the app would help….it’s working for a lot of others & they like the convenience.

      We can give you friendly workout reminders via message, touch base routinely to make sure you’re sticking to it, & we also sit back when you tell us you’re too busy/need a break.

      With the app, you’re in full control….but have the professional trainer their at your finger tips!!

    These are some truly great exercises and I will certainly give them a try. What an awesome app also. I find myself very busy these days and I usually just take a quit walk with the weather allows, but I love these and has added them to my day.
