In just about a month...

Thinking back to last month and our stay in that cute little airbnb, it makes me so grateful for the opportunity to blog full-time. Thinking back to last month...

Today I had a plan. Wake up early, get the girls ready for their first day of school and then take the perfect first day of school picture to post on Instagram, where I would talk about how bittersweet it is to watch my girls grow up into these incredible young women. 
But things don’t always go as we plan. Instead, Falynn and Iyla woke up at 3:30am, got ready for school and then came downstairs at 5:00am to let us know they were ready. 5:00am... two and a half hours before they actually needed to be at school. I rolled myself out of bed at around 6:50am, Super Dad made me some coffee and I quickly shooed them outside so I could take a picture and realized that Falynn was in a long sleeved shirt, a jacket, jeans and old sneakers. I’m pretty sure her hair wasn’t brushed either. Lucia wasn’t awake yet so it would be the first year without a first day of school picture of all three of them. 😫 Whatever. I was tired. So I quickly took a picture (swipe to see) and got them off to school. Lucia woke up late and I couldn’t take a picture of her because my camera lens kept fogging up. When we walked back into the house, the dog escaped, making her even later. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And my coffee’s cold. Anyway, since I couldn’t get the perfect first day of school picture, I hope you enjoy this shot of the girls and Super Dad in their @swimzip.

Today I had a plan....

My girls are snackers.     These are great and simple exercises. The app virtually seems to bring the gym and the trainer home. I do a combination of Yoga, weight training and stretches as part of my fitness regimen.

    These are great excercises for everyone. I just recently became a SAHD and am figuring out where to incorporate my fitness routine. Love the idea of a personal trainer via the phone.

      We have several stay at home parents who love using the app. Some have us customize their workout weeks to be 100% at home & others prefer the gym. We custom tailor every single clients workouts based on where they want to exercise (home, the gym, etc)….so the app might work great in your case. You get the same close experience of working with a certified personal trainer in a gym….but now it’s from your phone, can do it from anywhere, & way lower cost.

    You are totally speaking my language. When I exercise I don’t have a huge amount of time so whatever I can get done as fast as possible is what I want to do. I definitely think I will try a lot of these exercises while I’m working through my day at home.

    I like working out at home on whenever I am traveling. What’s good about exercising it keep you fit and healthy. To stay active not necessarily needed an equipment , you can always do cardio and flexibility on your own. You just have to be resourceful and creative on your workout. I love the example you presented above.

    I love exercising at home when I can and apps like this definitely help me out. I think it’s awesome that it’s easy to use and that you can consult a trainer whenever you have to.

      The app is the first of it’s kind in that we have a team of certified personal trainers (with Bachelors/Masters degrees in their designated fields) on the other end working directly with each client…..which gives users a completely different experience than you would just get interacting with a piece of software with some stock exercise videos 🙂

    This is great for folks wanting to exercise at home. I remember some of these exercises from when I was a teen, specifically the mountain climbers, lying lifts and chair lunges.

    I need major encouragement to get my butt to workout. I usually need to go to a class or walk with a friend. I am not sure if an app would work for me!

      I hear you….getting motivated is one of the toughest parts 🙂

      You should try the app out to see. Based on what you’re saying, I think you’d see the form of accountability in the app would help….it’s working for a lot of others & they like the convenience.

      We can give you friendly workout reminders via message, touch base routinely to make sure you’re sticking to it, & we also sit back when you tell us you’re too busy/need a break.

      With the app, you’re in full control….but have the professional trainer their at your finger tips!!

    These are some truly great exercises and I will certainly give them a try. What an awesome app also. I find myself very busy these days and I usually just take a quit walk with the weather allows, but I love these and has added them to my day.
