If you’re looking for the best perfumes for teenage girls 2026, I have a pretty good person to ask. My 17-year-old daughter is a HUGE perfume girl, and I’m not exaggerating when I say there is almost always a perfume somewhere on her birthday or holiday wish list.
She’s constantly looking for the next fragrance to add to her already massive collection, and she knows exactly what she likes. Her preferences tend to lean toward beautiful floral fragrances and sweet, delicious gourmand scents, and she can usually tell within seconds whether a perfume is going to become a new favorite or never see the light of day again.
And, as it turns out, she is partly responsible for my own perfume obsession.
If you’ve read my post, Best Women’s Perfumes 2026: My Top 10 Favorites, you know that I spent most of my life as a loyal-to-the-core, one-perfume girl. Then my daughter introduced me to Ariana Grande God Is a Woman, I discovered TikTok perfume auctions, and somehow I ended up buying 15 different fragrances. 😂
So when that post started getting so much traction and I received such great feedback from readers, I thought it would be fun to let my resident perfume expert have her turn.
I asked my daughter to narrow down her massive perfume collection and choose her 12 favorite fragrances right now. And considering how many perfumes she owns, I was honestly impressed that she managed to narrow it down to 12!
Her list includes some of the same fragrances that made my own top 10, along with a few perfumes that didn’t make my list at all. Which got me thinking… are our perfume tastes actually that similar?
She’s also not your typical 17-year-old. When she’s not adding another perfume to her collection, she’s busy building something of her own. She recently started her own small business and is hosting her very first Whatnot show this week, where she’ll be selling women’s and men’s clothing and accessories. She’s saving up for a car, and as her mom, I couldn’t be more proud of her.
