I work a lot. I spend most the day sitting down, in front of my computer. So, when people suggest that I exercise more, not just to lose weight, but for my mental health, I cringe. The most exercise I have time for is walking from my desk to my kitchen and back again (and that’s when I remember to eat). When I think about working out, I think about the time it would take to get ready, drive to a gym, exercise, drive back, etc. I just don’t have that time in my day, especially with three very active kids. Or, at least, I didn’t think so. I was recently introduced to Bulldog Yoga, a company that offers online classes and that’s when I realized that I can save a lot of time by working out right here, in my home. I do have the time!
So, this week, I started online classes. When I told my family about it, they wanted to join in. Our first class turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected. We set up my laptop and our yoga mats outside and did yoga for the first time, as a family. And can I tell you a secret? Aside from the giggles, they stayed silent through most of it. Quiet family time and exercise? It’s a dream come true!
Why Yoga?
Everyone that I know, that does yoga, swears by it. Even my kids, who have yoga classes at school, love it. It’s no secret that I suffer from anxiety disorder. Meditation has been a huge relief for me. I’ve been told so many times that yoga is the next step. But thinking about going to a studio terrifies me. Not just because of the time I would need, but because of the crowd, the drive, the thought of people judging me… everything that tends to set off my anxiety. The whole idea of it just makes me uncomfortable.
Bulldog Yoga is different though. They are about making yoga approachable, accessible and fun. The words on their website say it well… “Fitness-focused yoga and great music in one sweaty, energetic, heart-pumping brew.” bulldog is yoga, rebooted – free from chanting, free from instructions in Sanskrit, free from those uncomfortable moments. And the best part for me? You can stream classes from any device… Any Time. Any Place. So, I can participate even on those days where my anxiety is at its highest because I don’t have to leave my home.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? Well, what if I told you that you could try it out for FREE for 30 days?
Bulldog Yoga has been generous enough to offer my readers 30 days of free online classes! You can also grab some awesome bulldog apparel (like the ones we are wearing in the photos). You can save 25% off with code thesupermomlife
Our Plan for the Next 30 Days
Super Dad and I will be trying out one class daily. The girls will be joining in on weekends and after school when they are free. In 30 days, I’m going to share with you how it’s affected me and my anxiety disorder. I’m looking forward to the results but more importantly, I’m looking forward to all the family bonding time.
Have you ever tried yoga? What was your experience like?
You have the most beautiful family! I love the way all of you get together to have this amazing yoga experience
This looks awesome. I’m not sure if my family is mature enough for yoga though. We tend to get the giggles at the poses.

I love yoga! Thanks for sharing this great resource. I can’t wait to try this with my family.
That is so awesome! one of the main reasons I’ve never done yoga is because i don’t want the people in the class to see how completely stiff and out of shape I am. LOL

I keep meaning to try yoga but I know I’m not a flexible so it would take a lot of work LOL. I know it’s good for your body to do stuff like that and maybe I will do it. This is a good reminder to try.

I’m not flexible at all! Over time, yoga is supposed to help with that.
My daughter does yoga and she loves doing yoga. I keep telling her I need an old lady class to start off with. Some of those poses are difficult for me.
