It’s FALL! Do you know what that means? Pumpkin EVERYTHING. Call me basic if you want, but it’s a must for Fall. Give me all the pumpkin lattes, pumpkin bread, and, most of all, pumpkin desserts! And while pumpkin spice is delicious, and we have to consume everything we can during Fall because pumpkin season will be gone in the blink of an eye, with pumpkin desserts comes sugar (in most cases, at least).
So if pumpkin is this Super Mom’s kryptonite, I have to ensure I’m stocked up on our secret weapon, especially regarding our favorite fall pumpkin dessert recipes.
Pumpkin Streusel Bars
When you find a site called Sally’s Baking Addiction, you can be relatively sure that you are going to find some incredible recipes. And boy did I. These delicious bars feature a gingersnap crust and brown sugar streusel topping, with a combo of pumpkin pie and cheesecake in the center. YUM! It’s like everything Fall in one bite, but I can guarantee one bite won’t be enough. Check out the full recipe here.
Salted Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake
This beautiful slice of heaven is a recipe I found on It’s a Mother Thing. It combines two of my all-time favorite things, pumpkin, and caramel. And while I’m not a huge cheesecake fan, this one far surpassed my expectations. Going somewhere special for the holidays? Anyone can bring a pumpkin pie. This salted caramel pumpkin cheesecake will help you stand out and have your hosts begging for the recipe. Check out the full recipe here.
Super Easy Pumpkin Pull Apart Bread
The picture alone had me drooling. Sweet Life of Anna describes this as a combination of pumpkin bread and cinnamon rolls. Say. No. More. And the best part is that when it says “Easy,” she means easy. It’s actually made of biscuits and pumpkin pie mix and like a handful of spices and milk. Check out the full recipe here.
Pumpkin Pie Caramel Popcorn
The one thing you will always find in our home is popcorn. My kids are eating some as I write this (not even joking). And when they found out that the hotel we were staying at this weekend puts out fresh popcorn at night, they cheered loud enough for the other guests to stop and look over. When I found this recipe, I Dig Pinterest. I knew that they were going to love it. And boy, was I right. They loved it so much that I didn’t even get a bite! Note to self, if I want to taste it, I should do it before giving the bowl to my kids. Check out the full recipe here.

HA! That toothpaste thrown in after all the sugary sweet recipes, amazing!! Seriously though, I have to add all these to my fall/winter list of to-dos, they look SO GOOD!!
I’m not a fan of pumpkin. Not sure how I didn’t get that gene haha! But the recipes do sound super great for those who love pumpkin. I have a few friends who are obsessed!
That pumpkin streusel bar looks super yummy, perfect for Fall atmosphere. For some reason my kids are not fond of Crest.
I think it is smart to use pumpkin as the replacement for sugar. I personally love pumpkin anyway but never thought of using it on desserts. Typically I will roast them in the oven and my kids also love them as well. I think the cheesecake sounds delicious and I think I might just try to make one over this weekend. Thx

Pumpkin isn’t replacing sugar, it’s just a large part of the recipe.
Yum, pumpkin recipes are my favorite and that pull apart bread looks divine.
These all look delicious, and it’s fun to kick off fall with some pumpkin recipes. Thanks for sharing, I’ll have to save this list and make some of these goodies with my girls.
I am not a huge pumpkin fan, I prefer sweet potato during this time of the year. But that salted caramel pumpkin cheesecake looks delicious. And I’d be willing to give pumpkin another chance or maybe make the substitute.
