So your kid spends all of their time watching other kids open toys, play video games or walk around aimlessly, talking about nothing? Oh.. my kids would get along perfectly with yours! Every time I turn around, they are watching something on YouTube. This year, I asked my kids to create a gift guide with what they want most for the holidays. I was NOT surprised when our 7 year old daughter’s list was full of things that she’s seen or heard about on her favorite YouTube channels. She even used the word “merch” which totally cracked me up! MERCH! What 7 year old says that?! She has also asked that I figure out how to create a toy line with her face on the box. Those videos have her convinced that it’s the natural next step for us and she’s confused as to why it’s taking me so long to get it done. Those YouTube families make it look so easy, don’t they?!
Anyway, instead of sharing a holiday gift guide for 7 year olds, I figured I would share the perfect holiday gift guide for all of you parents out there who have kids that are just as obsessed with Ryan and FGTeeV and all those other families who are living our dream lives right now.

At least that’s how she imagines it will go down.
