My fabulous Sister-in-Law Rosie, introduced us to these Chorizo + Shrimp Tostones Bowls, a couple of years ago. I’ve tried to recreate them, without the chorizo (since I stopped eating meat), but I just couldn’t get the flavor right. Until now.
MorningStar Farms® Chorizo Crumbles were EXACTLY what I’ve been missing. I whipped up a test batch, served them to our neighbors and they couldn’t tell that they were meatless! They even came back for seconds.
MorningStar Farms Chorizo Crumbles are vegan, but you don’t have to be vegan or vegetarian to enjoy them. Shrimp + Chorizo Tostones Bowls make the perfect appetizer for any occasion. Your guests will be begging you for the recipe! You can find them in the frozen foods section at Walmart.

Oh these look delicious and I love MorningStar Farms!! Perfect appetizer.
I love these chorizo crumbles. I used them to make stuffed peppers last weekend! So convenient and easy to use. Great flavor, too!
This looks like an awesome mid-day snack for my hubby! We both love chorizos to be honest, so it’s a great fit. 🙂 Thanks for the great recipe.
I will take one ingredient from this recipe – shrimp. Not a fan of much else. I’m sure you’ll post a recipe soon that my palate will love.

Have you ever tried this before to know if you wouldn’t like it?
I need to try this product. I have never had real chorizo as I too dont eat meat. Chorizo is big where I live so now I can see what all the fuss is about.
I love shrimp! I haven’t seen a recipe using it like this before. I’m definitely going to try this recipe out! Probably will make these up as a snack for a family movie night.
This looks like the perfect vegan snack for the holiday season. I must say, this will be a delight to all my vegan friends.
