This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.

When we were told that the girls schools were closing until at least May, and they would be doing their schoolwork online, a lot of things went through my head. Change isn’t easy for a lot of people, especially kids that are used, and thrive because of routines. I wanted to make the transition as easy as possible and make sure that they stay organized so they can get their work done quickly and efficiently. So we set up a little study area in the living room and I personalized their distance learning tools and supplies with my new Cricut Joy!

Cricut Joy is a pint-sized powerhouse making it easier – and faster – than ever to personalize your life with practical, everyday projects. I love that it’s compact, so it doesn’t take up much space at all! With its precision blade, Cricut Joy cuts lots of materials in any shape you say – everything from vinyl and iron-onto cardstock, peel-and-sticklabel paper, and even that construction paper you already have at home.

I’ve been wanting a Cricut for years! I was always a little intimidated by them and thought that it might be difficult to use. After using it for the first time, I was hooked. Their system makes everything so easy. Just choose the color, line weight, and your favorite font. It’s literally just finding or creating a design, inserting the vinyl (or material you are using), clicking a button and watching Cricut Joy work its magic. That’s it!

I spent the morning personalizing these little storage bins and pencil cases, one for each of my daughters. These stackable storage bins hold their laptops, headphones, notebooks, worksheets and pencils. They pull out their storage bin every morning and then pack it up and stack them when the school day is over. It’s helped them to stop misplacing important things and they love that each bin has their name on it!

Now that we’ve completed this project, we are already working on some new things. With the extra time we have, the girls are coming up with fun projects that they can create with our new Cricut Joy!

Next up, the girls are creating cards to mail to friends and family. It’s so easy! They just choose the right design, put the pre-scoredcard on the mat, and let Cricut Joy do the rest! Then they’ll spend some time writing good ol’ fashioned letters to those that they miss the most. Imagine all of the smiles when they receive a handmade, handwritten card in the mail.

If you’ve been wanting a Cricut machine of your own, now is the time to get one! You can purchase yours (as well as the supplies you’ll need) on Target.com!

What will you create first?

This new normal can be a lot for our kids to deal with, but thanks to Cricut Joy, we are staying organized in a fun way!

Hello There!

Hi! I’m Heather, Mom of 3, professional snack opener, the only person who knows where everything is in my house and part-time magician (I can turn a bunch of candy into a gift basket and everyone thinks it’s amazing). I share a mix of parenting moments, easy recipes, crafts, and DIY home decor projects.

Around here, we love turning ordinary stuff into extraordinary gifts, from candy box baskets and birthday punch boards to homemade advent calendars and other crafty chaos that somehow always works out.

Welcome to The Super Mom Life — where the projects are fun, the coffee is strong, and the laughter is pretty much required for survival. Don't forget to follow us on social media!

  • Oh gosh, I love this so much! Are you familiar if this is available in the Philippines? We wanna buy!

  • Wow, I love personalize my stuff with different designs and names printed on them as well. Love this idea so much.

  • This is awesome. We are always looking for ways to improve our organization at home. Cricut seems like a great way to help do so around the house.

  • I have been debating whether or not to get a cricut for years now. I am obsessed with crafty gadgets but then I never use them. This however, seems like something that could be really useful and fun for the kiddos.

I am exactly the same way. The good part about this one is that it’s very compact so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
