When we downsized late last year, I wasn’t sure how we would fit all of our belongings into 1/3 of the space. Our new rental home is definitely small, but we’ve gotten pretty crafty with our organization. We went from three large bathrooms to two small ones and, until we were moving, we didn’t realize just how much we accumulated in the bathrooms alone. All of the medicine, first aid, makeup and skincare just wouldn’t fit in our cabinet. Our counter started to look like a disaster. So, after watching that popular organization guru, I took matters into my own hands, found a bamboo box, and organized our downstairs bathroom. It was both therapeutic and fun.
Steps to Organizing Your Bathroom Essentials
- Lay out everything on a table.
- Get rid of any products that have expired.
- Make a list of everything you need (ex: Tylenol, Children’s Motrin, Band-Aids, etc.).
- Find a box that can be used to hold your most important essentials.
- Neatly organize everything and place the box in a safe place in your bathroom.

It is so frustrating to need something and not be able to find it. We used to have a hard time finding band-aids in our house (maybe because of having 5 kids), but we finally got ourselves organized similarly to what you did. I’ll have to see what we need to restock and get in on the savings!
Always had these on hand when the kids were younger especially and I still have a lot of these in the medicine cabinet. Great list of products..very important for every home to have.
We go through a lot of bandaids since two of us like to cook, my granddaughter is a toddler, and my son likes to garden. We definitely have to keep our first aid and bathroom supplies organized so we know where to find them.

These sound like some great tips to making sure your bathroom is clean and organised. Our whole place is absolutely tiny so anything we can do to help keep things a bit more under control and organised is a plus for me.
