When we downsized late last year, I wasn’t sure how we would fit all of our belongings into 1/3 of the space. Our new rental home is definitely small, but we’ve gotten pretty crafty with our organization. We went from three large bathrooms to two small ones and, until we were moving, we didn’t realize just how much we accumulated in the bathrooms alone. All of the medicine, first aid, makeup and skincare just wouldn’t fit in our cabinet. Our counter started to look like a disaster. So, after watching that popular organization guru, I took matters into my own hands, found a bamboo box, and organized our downstairs bathroom. It was both therapeutic and fun.
Steps to Organizing Your Bathroom Essentials
- Lay out everything on a table.
- Get rid of any products that have expired.
- Make a list of everything you need (ex: Tylenol, Children’s Motrin, Band-Aids, etc.).
- Find a box that can be used to hold your most important essentials.
- Neatly organize everything and place the box in a safe place in your bathroom.

This is a great guide on how to organize your bathroom – I definitely need to go through mine and organize it better.
haha this post reminded me of my weird obsession with bandaids when I was younger — I was known as the bandaid hoarder cause I would collect them or sport at least seven different ones on my body even thought I didn’t need them ?

My girls were exactly the same way!! My youngest finds any mark (even a marker) on her body and says she needs a bandaid.
I love that bamboo cube organizer, it’s unique! I would love to separate my husband’s stuff to mine and I need one like that.

Your post has inspired me to do something like so, I need to re-organize my bathroom. I love things are kept so neatly.
Love this idea! We have a tiny place too and I feel like the cabinet under my sink has gotten out of control after this winter. Someone was always sick in the house so I have a big collection of medicine now. I think I’m going to look for a bamboo box tomorrow. I like the way it looks!
