Hopefully you’ve read our previous post about why we loved Legoland Florida even more than Disney World. Now, we wanted to share the 5 things we loved most about Legoland. It was hard to narrow it down because honestly, we loved it all, but these five things were our absolute favorite and the things you shouldn’t miss when you visit!

Our Favorite Things at Legoland Florida

Mia’s Riding Adventure

Mia’s Riding Adventure was, by far, Super Dad, Lucia and Falynn’s favorite. They went on it seven times during our visit. 7 TIMES! Not only does it rock back and forth, but it spins at the same time. The girls kept telling me that they felt like they were flying. I didn’t personally ride this one because I tend to get dizzy easily, but the way that they talk about it, they are making me want to try it, just once.

Mia’s Riding Adventure can be found in Heartlake City. Pick your horse and saddle up for a ride on the exciting disc coaster!

Lego Movie Ride

The Lego Movie Ride can be best described as Epcot’s Soarin’ and Universal’s Jimmy Fallon ride meets Lego characters! We absolutely loved it and went on twice while we were there. Both times were were on the 2nd level, so next time we visit, we are going to try a different level hopefully.

Lego Movie Ride can be found in Lego Movie World. This flying theatre attraction where guests join Master Builders on a Triple Decker Flying Couch transporting riders all over THE LEGO® MOVIE universe.

Granny’s Apple Fries

I spotted Granny’s Apple Fries as soon as we walked into the park. I knew I had to try them. And try them we did… three different times! The girls weren’t sure about them but once I convinced them to try one, those apple fries had no chance. We finished them in minutes. We loved the caramel dipping sauce the best! Next time we will try them with soft serve ice cream! YUM! It’s no wonder why Granny’s Apple Fries was one of our favorite things at Legoland.

Granny’s Apple Fries can be found in Fun Town, right next to the carousel. A LEGOLAND® original! Indulge in warm Granny Smith apple fries, dusted with cinnamon and sugar and served with a sweet whipped cream dipping sauce! And you’ll love their newest twist – a la mode!

Lego Models

Literally everywhere you look, both in Legoland and in the Legoland hotel, there are these incredible and intricate Lego models. I couldn’t help but think of all the time it takes me to try to create a little Lego house. Lego has created these pieces of art that are absolutely amazing! I have no idea how much time or Lego pieces went into each of these models, but I know that the people who created them must have the patience of a saint!

Wooden rollercoasters freak me out y’all. I’m not sure why, but ever since I was a kid, they scared me. Maybe it’s the noises they make or how they look like they will just fall apart if you touch them. Who knows. I let the family go on Coastersaurus and they convinced me that it was the best roller coaster ever. They practically pulled me on. I faced my fear and have to admit, it was FUN! Seriously. Fun and of the three coasters I went on in Legoland, it turned out to be my favorite (though The Great Lego Race – the Virtual Reality coaster was a close second)!

Coastersaurus can be found in Land of Adventure. This wooden coaster curves and dips in and around a prehistoric jungle of animated and life-sized LEGO® brick dinosaurs.

  4. There is a Legoland around these parts here in SOCAL – my husband went the day before our wedding actually but I have yet to go. When my son gets older I am sure it will be an adventure we partake in together as a family!

  10. That looks like so much fun. I have always wanted to go to Legoland. I think my kids would really love it there.

  11. How cool! I had no idea LEGOLAND was a full fledged amusement park as well. I really thought it was only a display of the artwork—and you shared some awesome images of both sides here. The Lego Movie was one of my favorites. May have to suggest it to the nieces…

  12. So fun and so amazing! My boyfriend loves legos and I think this would be a fun trip for both of us! Thanks for sharing 🙂

  13. Wow, this place is so fun for the kids. The Coastersauras looks like it would be a complete hit with all my family members.

  14. So cool! We have annual passes to Legoland San Diego but I didn’t know things were that different at the Florida location. We are getting the Lego movie ride and I think 1 or 2 more this spring which is exciting. So interesting that the Apple Fries are different too. Ours is a small walk up stand and only comes with whipped cream to dip. Still amazing though!! I sure do love the coastasaurus!

  15. I’ve never been to Legoland before but I heard a lot about it! I would love to go there one day, very exciting.

  16. LEGOLAND is such an awesome place. I love all the creativity it promotes. LEGO is an amazing way for kids to have fun and learn at the same time.

  17. I so need to get here. My family has always loved Legos. Granted, I’m not the best at building, but everyone else in my family is.

  18. Looks like a fun day out. I would have to ride more than 7 times lol because that’s kinda my stuff. And definitely would go for the apple fries.

  19. Legoland is awesome! I had no idea there was one in Florida. I went to the one in Carlsbad/San Diego area years ago and it was a blast.

  20. Mia’s Riding Adventure looks so cool for the kiddos and the whole park is so fun and colorful. I enjoyed your amazing pictures and will have to get my Scarlet down there to visit this summer when I visit my sister 🙂 Looks like the perfect park for the family and the kids. Thanks for sharing!

  21. I need to go to Legoland. I mean I have been multiple times to Disney, but I haven’t go there. Legoland is so awesome and amazing. I want to go now after this post.

  22. I have never been a big fan of Lego as a child, but I have become a fan now that I am an adult, all the more reason to come here.
