Can I confess something? My family will eat tacos every single day of the week without complaint. Give them a tortilla filled with just about anything and they are happy (especially if there is avocado involved). Since my husband and I stopped eating meat, we’ve had fun finding and creating different meatless taco options. You would be surprised how many delicious vegetarian options there are out there and you don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy them! One of our new favorite recipes are these Vegetarian Lentil Tacos with Avocado and Salsa Fresca. These tacos are fresh, filling and have a kick to them!
These tacos are packed with a mixture of meatless crumbles and lentils and topped with fresh tomato salsa and avocado. You can adjust the spices to your comfort level. Make them as spicy or as mild as you’d like. Either way, they are a definite must-try. Read on for the full recipe.

Like you, I also love spicy food and some of my favorite-tasting food is also vegetarian. These tacos sound right up my alley and it’s good to know that there is a cure that can be on ‘stand by’ when needed if the spice gets a bit much!
This product is very interesting. I know that indigestion keeps me awake so I would use this.
Those vegetarian tacos looks so good!! My kids already love tacos and lentils so why not combine them!!!! Like you, spicy food always gives me heartburn at night! I’ll have to give this product a try!
Pinning this for later … yum. I’m not a vegetarian but these look awesome. I too could eat tacos every day of the week!
Although not “officially” a vegetarian, I eat very little meat. These would be perfect for lunch or a light dinner!
Those look super tasty. I’ve never actually had a vegetarian taco before. I think that needs to change, though. I’m a huge carnivore, but even I can’t say no to this!
These tacos look amazing! We aren’t vegetarians in my family BUT we are eating less meat so this would be perfect to try for out Taco Tuesdays!
