Dairy-Free Strawberry Banana Smoothie for a New Year and New Lifestyle!
2018 is the year our family is working on ourselves, including implementing a healthier lifestyle. We are doing our best to get out and exercise more and we’ve been cutting back on sugary treats, focusing on healthy, more organic choices. As we discover new, yummy, kid-friendly options, I’ll be sharing them with our readers, starting with this dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie!
Honestly, I really lucked out when it comes to my kids and veggies and fruits… they love them! Give them a plate of broccoli and they are in heaven! My 8 year old would rather eat extra salad than dessert. I’m serious. So when it comes to special treats, I love to incorporate their love of fruits and veggies as often as I can. We’ve been experimenting with different good-for-you options and found a new smoothie that they absolutely love! It’s easy to make and so delicious, your kids will love it too! This dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie makes a great snack, breakfast, or even dessert! It’s packed with great ingredients and cost less than $5 to make.
This delicious dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie takes around 5 minutes to make but will leave a permanent smile on your kids faces! I double the recipe often so that I can sneak a glass myself. It’s a great way to get your daily fruit allowance in while feeling like you’re drinking something sweet. You can add in additional flavors too to change it up!

My daughter makes smoothies all the time using strawberries and bananas. I but coconut milk and she MUST have her honey.
We don’t have to worry about dairy so we use milk to make our smoothies. Plus we have milk cows to its a thing. Love the flavor and easy to make.
That looks absolutely delicious and it is perfect for me as I’m trying to eat healthier.
It’s been so long since I’ve had a smoothie. I need to make one! I love that this is dairy free–my mom is dairy free, so she’ll be happy she can have some!
This is how I make my banana smoothies except for the maple syrup. I need to try that. I use Splenda and I know I need to make a change. Looks delicious and I love that you don’t use ice. I never use ice in a smoothie. Yum – looks delicious!
I like that this is dairy free. Strawberries and bananas are always crowd-pleasers when it comes to kids. I would probably use honey rather than maple syrup though.
I just started using almond milk and we love it. We need more dairy free options and this is perfect. Everyone in my family loves strawberry and banana!
