Dairy-Free Strawberry Banana Smoothie for a New Year and New Lifestyle!
2018 is the year our family is working on ourselves, including implementing a healthier lifestyle. We are doing our best to get out and exercise more and we’ve been cutting back on sugary treats, focusing on healthy, more organic choices. As we discover new, yummy, kid-friendly options, I’ll be sharing them with our readers, starting with this dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie!
Honestly, I really lucked out when it comes to my kids and veggies and fruits… they love them! Give them a plate of broccoli and they are in heaven! My 8 year old would rather eat extra salad than dessert. I’m serious. So when it comes to special treats, I love to incorporate their love of fruits and veggies as often as I can. We’ve been experimenting with different good-for-you options and found a new smoothie that they absolutely love! It’s easy to make and so delicious, your kids will love it too! This dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie makes a great snack, breakfast, or even dessert! It’s packed with great ingredients and cost less than $5 to make.
This delicious dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie takes around 5 minutes to make but will leave a permanent smile on your kids faces! I double the recipe often so that I can sneak a glass myself. It’s a great way to get your daily fruit allowance in while feeling like you’re drinking something sweet. You can add in additional flavors too to change it up!

I love that this recipe is dairy free and healthy. I love making smoothies, looking forward to trying this recipe.
I love smoothies for breakfast when I have enough time to slow down and actually make one. Strawberries and bananas are just so delicious together.
Now this is a healthy option/recipe Babushka can get into! Gracias for the recipe and the ideas it started. BB2U
Strawberry and banana is one of my very favorite flavor mixes! I can’t believe this is dairy free – it looks so good! Yum!
What a delicious breakfast idea! Or even a pick me up snack during the day which is when I drink most of my smoothies.
I think this is great and that restaurants should offer refreshing and healthy smoothies like this one here. I prep my fruits in advance by chopping them into halves or cubes then I freeze them in Ziplocs. Then I just pop a few pieces into my blender and add almond milk and water to the smoothie mix. I like this recipe and I think I might try and add some maple syrup and test that out.
The flavour of strawberry and the smoothness of banana is sure to create a great tasting smoothie. Just bought a new blender and this is something I will make.
