It’s that time of year again! Cooler weather, colorful leaves, and pumpkin spice everything, everywhere you look. It seemed fitting that I share one of my favorite Starbuck’s Fall drinks with you — the pumpkin cream cold brew!
According to the Starbucks website, a pumpkin cream cold brew is Starbucks® Cold Brew sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with a pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice topping.
While there are a number of ways you can make this pumpkin cream cold brew at home, I have come up with a super-easy way that will take you just a few minutes. It tastes just like pumpkin pie in a cup. I know you’re going to love it as much as we do!
Before I share our Starbucks pumpkin cream cold brew, let me share a few tips about the ingredients.
You can use any cold brew you find in the store. You can even make your own. But I find that buying the Starbucks black, unsweet cold brew at the store is your best option.
While you can make your own pumpkin spice creamer, using the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte creamer is quick and incredibly delicious.
You have a couple of options for the vanilla. You can either use vanilla syrup or vanilla extract. I have tried both and both are equally as delicious.
Sweetener is optional. It will depend on how sweet you like your drinks. The creamer is on the sweet side already and the vanilla syrup also contains sugar (unless you use sugar-free). If you’d like to wait to add the sweetener until after you’ve finished making the pumpkin cream cold brew, you can taste and add sweetener only if necessary.
How do I froth the creamer?
You will need a frother. You can probably also use a whisk, but I haven’t tried that and imagine it would take much more time to do. The frother mixes cream much quicker and it’s a great kitchen tool to have, especially if you are a coffee fan.
What is in pumpkin pie spice?
Pumpkin pie spice (sometimes called pumpkin spice), contains cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Some also contain allspice, depending on the brand you buy.
Have any additional questions I haven’t answered? Make sure to leave those in the comments below!
I’ve tried to show the steps in the photos above for you, to make it a bit easier to make your Starbucks pumpkin cream cold brew.
Step 1: Combine cold brew, vanilla syrup, and sweetener and mix.
Step 2: Pour in ice, leaving an inch or so at the top for cream.
Step 3: Froth the creamer and pour it on top. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice.
