Searching for the Unicorn of Green Smoothies?

Packed with spinach, this smoothie includes good for you foods like banana, mango, freshly squeezed orange juice and coconut milk. I added some maple syrup for a little added sweetness and topped with shredded coconut. My husband and I loved it! It had been so long since we had a green smoothie and it was like seeing an old friend.
My Kids Opinion.
My kids? Well, they didn’t share the sentiment. Unfortunately, it was “too spinachy” though if you’ve ever had a smoothie with spinach in it, you’ll probably agree that you can’t really taste the spinach. While they love cooked spinach, they just can’t be convinced that raw spinach is good too. But don’t think I’m giving up on that one! I’m already working on another one to change their mind!
Low in fat and even lower in cholesterol, spinach is high in niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. In other words, it’s loaded with good things for every part of your body!*
Don’t forget, you can add in additional fruits to change it up a bit, though this dairy-free mango coconut green smoothie is delicious as is! Make sure to check out our Dairy-Free Very Berry Smoothie too!

My daughter adds spinach to everything. Her kids would love this type of smoothie. Plus very pretty
I am not a huge fan of coconut is there an alternative you would reccomend? I would love to give it a try outside of that because I need to incorporate more veggies in my diet and this would be an easy way to do it

You can leave the coconut out if you don’t like it. It will still taste great!
This looks really delicious and nutritious I will try it on my boy, he already knows that peas make him run faster lol I know I needed to get a lie from somewhere so this will another option for him to try.
Looks like a really healthy and delicious smoothie! I have to incorporate more green smoothies in my diet, and I will start off with your recipe. I’m going to get some mangoes at the store today.
This looks so good! I personally try to use dairy free alternatives wherever possible so definitely wouldn’t be using dairy in my smoothies. I love coconut milk though!
