Searching for the Unicorn of Green Smoothies?

Packed with spinach, this smoothie includes good for you foods like banana, mango, freshly squeezed orange juice and coconut milk. I added some maple syrup for a little added sweetness and topped with shredded coconut. My husband and I loved it! It had been so long since we had a green smoothie and it was like seeing an old friend.
My Kids Opinion.
My kids? Well, they didn’t share the sentiment. Unfortunately, it was “too spinachy” though if you’ve ever had a smoothie with spinach in it, you’ll probably agree that you can’t really taste the spinach. While they love cooked spinach, they just can’t be convinced that raw spinach is good too. But don’t think I’m giving up on that one! I’m already working on another one to change their mind!
Low in fat and even lower in cholesterol, spinach is high in niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese. In other words, it’s loaded with good things for every part of your body!*
Don’t forget, you can add in additional fruits to change it up a bit, though this dairy-free mango coconut green smoothie is delicious as is! Make sure to check out our Dairy-Free Very Berry Smoothie too!

I think this recipe looks so refreshing! It’s been a long time since I’ve made a green smoothie, I’ll have to try it again!
I love a good smoothie. Putting greens in so my kids don’t taste them is a great idea.
i don’t usually like coconut but I do like coconut milk. THis sounds so good. Something I would like right now!
I’m saving this recipe for my son. He is lactose intolerant and loves smoothies. He doesn’t mind spinach, so I think he’ll really like this.
OOH YUM THIS DOES SOUND SO TASTY! I LOVE MANGO AND HAVE A DAIRY INTOLERANCE SO IT COULDNT BE ANY MORE PERFECT REALLY!
This sounds yummy! I love mango and with it having coconut milk the coconut would be mild which is good in my book. haha.
This smoothie looks so refreshing. I love a good green smoothie recipe. I also love that this recipe is dairy free too!
